BPC Season 14 - Week 7

Not to be out paced, Cowboy Slick Rick takes in 2nd place, his 5th pointing in 7 showings, and is in 3rd overall just 2 behind Fk and 1 behind Chess.
Nisha came in to play for Team DerMo for the first in many moons, and was a welcome sight, until she took all my chips about 5 minutes into the game. (I flopped an open ended straight-flush draw, and made the early decision that my chips were going in no matter what. Big bet on the flop, Nisha calls, K of spades comes on the turn, giving me the second nut flush with still a stright-flush draw. Chips go in and Nisha insta-calls with the nut flush. Crap. The one-outer doesn't come for me on the river, and I'm sent home for an early bedtime.)
Nisha was able to use that early double up and parlay it into a 3rd place. Nicely done, and Team DerMo moves up from 8th to 6th.
Kelly, playing as Guest 1 and not for Team KarJackly, pulled in 4th place. Guest 1 now has more points than I do.
Sunj makes a cameo appearance and pulls in the final 5th place spot, and Papa Kumo was the Bubble.
Chester's back to back wins give him a big jump in the Mini-Season 2 standings, and an opportunity to break the record just recently re-established by Fkamiah. A single 2nd place in the next 3 games would tie it, anything better and we have a new record holder.
If he does it, it would more than likely ruin Fkamiah's chance at being the first one to go wire to wire to the Points Championship (i.e., be in first place overall for every week of the season.)

Nicole comes out of semi-retirement for the holiday festivities and pulls in 2nd place. Maybe she'll get the bug to come back again next week for the pre-new year's fun.
Arjan got his second pointing of the season with a 3rd place, and moves into the Top 9. Rick got his 4th pointing in 6 weeks (more than anyone) with another 4th place finish, and is in 3rd overall. And Padma pulls in her first pointing with a 5th.

Derick gets Team DerMo's mo-der running by outlasting Jeena to take the win in Week 4. The win is their first pointing of the season for the Derick-Morris-Morris combo, but its enough to push them into the Top 9.
Jeena got 2nd for her 3rd pointing and moves into 2nd place past Potts. Chess got 3rd place and squeeks into a tie for 9th, with Jagu, who got 5th place.
Papa Kumo finished in between those two for 4th place, maintaining his 6th place overall spot.
And The Milkman was the Bubble Boy, his 2nd in only 4 showings.

This year's break out (not so new) artist... Fkamiah, who pulled in his 3rd pointing of the season with a 2nd place. He's at 43 points total, has locked up Mini-Season 1, and doesn't even need to point next week to reclaim his Mini-Season record. As you recall, he previously held the record at 41, until Team KarJackly came into town last season and posted a 43. With just a buy-in next week Fkamiah will set the new record at 44. But with a pointing, he could possibly set a record that may take generations to beat.
Jeena takes down 3rd, her 2nd pointing of the season, and moves up to 5th. Cowboy Slick Rick is the only other person besides Fkamiah to point 3 times in the first 4 weeks of the season, this time with a 4th, and David takes down the final spot.
Randy, playing for Team DerMo, ends up the Bubble Boy. You won't see me shedding a tear for him though, after we both get all our chips in pre-flop with about 7 players left, me with some sort of pair, and Randy with the monster 7-2. Yes, this was pre-flop. Deuce on the flop, another on the turn. We all know that feeling.

Meanwhile on Table 3 at nearly the exact same time, we have 3 all-in's with Papa Kumo, Julius and Fkamiah. Jules is behind with pkt dueces, as is Papa Kumo with my buddies the pkt K's because card magnet Fkamiah has the pkt Aces. Nothing comes and the pkt Aces hold, sending Papa to the rail.
Finally, a bit later when we're playing 5 way, Fkamiah and I are two of the chip leaders, blinds are 2000-4000 with me in the little and Fkamiah in the big. I look down at pkt-Aces and raise to 12,000, getting a call from Fka-card-magnet. Flop comes 7-9-J and I check. I don't care for that flop at all, especially with Fkamiah's penchant for playing his hand... Q-10. I care for it even less when he bets out 25,000. Too much money in there though, and I shove, he calls, showing A-10 hearts. Turn comes... 8, giving him a nasty straight and a monster chip stack lead. Crap.
Fkamiah was able to ride our chips all the way to 1st place, giving him back to back wins to start the season, and a huge jump out to the Mini-Season 1 lead. Well done.
Cowboy Slick Rick pulls in 2nd place for his second pointing in a row, and Jeena took the final money spot at 3rd.
Jaclyn, playing for last season's Point Champion Team KarJacly took 4th, and as previously groaned about, I took 5th.
Hee Hall playing for Team Heemo was the Bubble. (I think.)
