BPC Season 11 - Week 24
-----------------------
Padma takes down the win last night, and she's knocking on the door of the Top 9, tied for 10th and just a single point out!!! Well done Padma.
Mike takes 2nd place and makes a big move up into the Top 9, 7th place overall, passing by Bagu, KarJacked and Scott along the way.
Jeena got 3rd and moves from 8th up to 6th place. Bagu got 4th and moves from 9th to 8th. David got 5th and is prepping for next season, and Jagu was the bubble.
Boy things could not have gone more wrong for me. After getting pkt quads against Nicole's pkt K's, then somehow squandering all those riches, I really needed either David or Jagu to take some bigger points when it got down to the bubble zone. Instead, all 3 of the people right behind me pointed, moving past me and knocking me out of the Top 9 FOR THE FIRST TIME ALL SEASON. Crap. Timing is everything. I hate poker. I've now been blanked for 9 weeks in a row, and if I can't make something happen next week, then it will be the second season in a row where I've gotten 70 points and not made it into the final table. I hate poker. Really.
Top 9 Changes: Mike in, Scott out.
Chester's cold streak is extended to 15 weeks, and he is now officially out of contention for the Final Table. As are Sungina and Kurt.
ONLY 1 WEEK LEFT IN THE SEASON. Historically, for whatever reason, nothing ever changes in the last week of the season. I need to break that streak, and with 5 people still in contention, there's room for a lot of change.

Season 11 - Week 23
BPC Season 11 - Week 23
-----------------------
Steven es en fuego, peaking at the right time and not only pointing for the third week in a row, but taking down first place. His overall lead is now a healthy 16 points (I think the most its been all season), and would have been more but Jeremiah pulls in his second 2nd place in three weeks, pushing past Potts to take control of 2nd place again.
Steven is also the Mini-Season 5 points leader. If he wins it, it will be his second of the season and we'll need a dump truck for all his chips at the final table. This is getting just a little too easy for him. I means seriously, look at his picture, its like its turned into a boring job for him.
Other than that, there was no movement in the Top 9. Eric returned back to the game after a two week layoff, and takes down 3rd place. The 9 points moves him past Padma, Chess, Sungina and Kurt, and into 13th place overall, just 7 points out of the coveted Top 9.
Judy took 4th place, and moves into a tie with Nicole (whose Aces got cracked twice in the first 10 minutes of the game) for 11th place at 60 points, just 5 points out.
And Kurt took the scrappy 5th place, moving him absolutely nowhere. But at 51 points, he's only 14 points out of the Top 9.
Padma was the Bubble.
My cold streak is extended to 8 weeks, after running into pkt K's near the bubble for the second week in a row. This after watching 3 or 4 short-stacked players cling to life with their all-in's time and time again. I really hate poker.
Top 9 Changes: None.
Chester's cold streak is extended to 14 weeks.
ONLY 2 WEEKS LEFT IN THE SEASON!!! Current projected cutoff is about 71. (See below.)

BPC Season 11 - Week 22
-----------------------
Potts takes down the win last night, and moves from 4th place back up to 2nd place overall, 6 points behind Steve, who got 3rd and seems to be doing just what he needs to do to keep himself in the overall lead.
Judy got 2nd place, and moves from 17th place to 12th place, passing Eric, Kurt, Sungina, Chess and Padma along the way. She's now just 11 points out of the Top 9.
Remo got 4th, Jagu got 5th and Omar was the Bubble.
Omar needed points to stay in contention. Unfortunately he, and everyone below him are now mathematically eliminated from the Final Table. Jeff The Champ Hall, currently in 21st place, still has a mathematical chance at it. If he wins the next 3 weeks in a row he'll end up with 68 points. Bagu is currently 9th and will have 67 if he blanks the last 3 weeks. Winning 3 weeks in a row is tough enough, but he'd also need everyone from Bagu and below to NOT point. Funnier things have happened in the BPC.

Season 11 - Week 21
BPC Season 11 - Week 21
-----------------------
And here comes Padma! Just 5 weeks ago back in Week 16, Padma was in 23rd place and a full 36 points out of the Top 9. With a first place from last night, she has now pointed in 3 of those 5 weeks, and finds herself in 12th place just 11 points out of the Top 9, passing notables Chester, Sungina, Kurt and Eric along the way. Great job Padma, ride that rush just a bit longer and you'll have yourself a ticket to the Big Show.
And what a rush it was. She was down to about 2000 in chips and the blinds were getting big, but managed a couple of come from behind double ups to get back to a healthy stack. Earl was fat-stacked and had a chance or two to take her out too, but chose to muck instead. Hopefully he learned his lesson, if not from the verbal scolding that Potts gave to him, then from the fact that if you let them live when you have a chance to take them out, they may just come back and win the whole damn thing.
In the mean time, I shoved with pkt 9's, the first pocket pair I had seen since the Taft administration, and happen to run into an old friend... pkt K's. They held up for Earl, and I was out on the Bubble. Not just the bubble, the fkn bubble. I hate the fkn bubble.
Outside of that, the rich got richer. All 4 of the top 4 pointed last night. Jeremiah got 2nd, and moves back into 2nd place. The Hurricane got 3rd, and maintains his 5 point overall lead. Potts got 4th and stays in 4th, and Arjan got 5th and moves down a notch to 3rd.
Top 9 Changes: None.
Chester's cold streak is extended to 12 weeks. (That's almost half a season.)
With only 4 WEEKS LEFT of the season, we really are in the home stretch. I can't think of a reliable way to figure out where the Top 9 bubble is going to land, but if we take a simplistic approach and just figure out the average points per week for the current 9th position, and extrapolate that out for the full 25 weeks, it puts us at 75 points to make it in the Top 9. That sounds about right to me. Everyone's projected finish is listed below.

Season 11 - Week 20
BPC Season 11 - Week 20
-----------------------
The Brothers Tejawani are on da roll. Jagu takes down Week 20, and also wins Mini-Season 4 and all the bonus chips that entails. After a bit of a dry spell during the middle of the season, Jagu now has 3 pointings in the last 4 weeks, including TWO first places. That will move you up the ladder, and how... Jagu is now in 5th place overall. Just 4 weeks ago in Week 16, he was in 16th place.
Not to be out done, big brudder Arjan got 2nd place, for the second week in a row. That moves him all the way up to 2nd place overall, just 5 points behind The Hurricane. Don't call it a come back, but Arjan had only 2 pointings for 18 points all of last season. He's almost tripled that this season with 6 pointings for 63 points, so far.
And let's not forget that Bagu won last week, making it a Tejewani tri-fecta for the last 3 weeks. When does the Kumo love kick in? I've blanked for 5 weeks in a row now, and have slipped all the way down to 7th place. Boo.
Karrie of KarJackedville got 3rd place, and now has 45 of the 51 points that Team KarJacked has from pointings. Jackoff gets to play in the next game, with not only their overall standing on the line, but is also playing to give Karrie a high draft pick in the upcoming Po-Golf tourney.
Remo got 4th place, and Nicole bagged the scrappy 5th for the second week in a row.
Top 9 Changes: Mike out, Jagu in.
Hee Hall was the Bubble Boy, for a season-leading 4th time.
Chester's cold streak is extended to 11.

Season 11 - Week 19
BPC Season 11 - Week 19
-----------------------
Bagu takes it down last night, and the 15 points puts him back in the Top 9 for the first time since Week 4!!! He's now in 7th place overall, leapfrogging Mike, KarJacked, Jagu, Nicole, Sungina, Kurt and Chess along the way. Get the people!!!
Big brother Arjan got second place and moves up to a tie with Scott for 4th place. Well done Arjan! Now go away.
Padma got 3rd place and 9 points, her second pointing of the season. She's still 21 points out of the Top 9, but a few more good places will get her in the hunt. Still plenty of time.
Mike and Nicole got 4th and 5th, and KarJacked (Jaclyn) was the bubble with a very unfortunate inadvertent muck.
Chester's cold streak extends to 10 weeks.
CONGRATULATIONS TO STEVEN AND JULIE FOR THEIR BRAND SPANKING NEW BABY BOY!!!!
