Newlius takes down Week 11, his 2nd win in 3 weeks and his 3rd of the season!!!  En fuego.  He will get a chance to defend his title from last year because he is the first to clinch a return ticket to the Final Table!  With 63 points currently and 14 weeks left, that's a projected 77 points, which historically is a very safe bet.  (Back in Season 6, 5 people tied in 9th place with 77 points, and had a 5 way playoff for 4 spots.  Incredible.)  Outside of that one year, the rest are in the 69-73 range, so 74 has been the new golden number.  Anything can happen, but I'm declaring it a lock now.  He's also almost guaranteed not to be wearing a dress next season (unless its by choice) but I'm not ready to lock that in just yet.  You just can't underestimate the people behind him, or who lap Mr. Slump may want to sit on.  In the meantime though, congrats Newlius!

Potts takes 2nd, his second of the season and 3rd pointing overall, and is back in the Top 9 for the first time since his Week 2 4th placing early in the season.

Arjan got 3rd for his first pointing of the season, and scoots on up to 15th overall.

After her first Final Table last season, Padma has been relatively quiet this season.  She did have a 1st place and a 5th going into last night, and with her 4th place finish she's moving up but still on the outside looking in at 12th place.

Dennis got 5th place and his first BPC pointing after taking me out on the bubble with a 4 outer river.  That's two weeks in a row I got 4-outer rivered, and it must stop.
