After a very strong showing last season, taking 1st four times, coming in 3rd place overall in season points, making (I think) his first BPC Final Table, and then making a deep run on it, Potts has been relatively silent this season.  Until last night, he only had 1 pointing (a 5th) and had missed 4 of the 13 games.  Well he's back in the winner's circle again, out lasting a very stubborn field when it got down to the bubble zone.  No one wanted to go out, and play went on forever as chips kept getting passed around. 

Potts had his chance to take out Jeremiah on the Bubble when blinds were 1000-2000, Potts was in the big blind and Jeremiah shoves for about 4600 more.  Potts was second chip leader behind Jackwagon, and with about 45,000 behind it seemed like an easy snap call.  Instead he folded his A-7.  The dealer rabbit hunted the cards and he would have won.  Just a few hands later, Jeremiah had quietly built his stack back up from nothing to probably 3rd chip leader or more, and I thought for sure the poker gods were going to mandate that Jeremiah snap off Potts before the night was over.

Instead Potts was right, and all that mattered was the final results.  Good job Potts.  The win moves him up from the cellar to tied with Jeena at 14th place and within striking distance of the Top 9.  Plenty of season left to move in.

I got 2nd for my 3rd pointing in a row, and it moves me past Padma into 4th place overall, just a point behind Charlie and 2 behind this year's eventual Points Champion Mike.  It also moves me into the solo lead for Mini-Season 3, with only Charlie and Jeremiah still in the hunt.

Jeremiah got 3rd place and moves past Arjan and into 7th place overall, just a point behind Chester.

Nicole survived a number of all-in's late and ends up with 4th, and is back in the Top 9 again after getting booted out in Week 11.  She boots out Newlius in the process, who has been in the Top 9 every week this season except for two (weeks 3 and 4.)  This makes it the 3rd week, after being in there for the last 10 straight.  Unfortunately he's also gone the last 8 weeks (7 showings) without pointing. 

Jackwagon was the scrappy 5th, breaking a 6 week cold spell for Team KarJacked, and Remo was the Bubble Boy.
