Season 13 - Week 5

BPC Season 13 - Week 5

Jagu is back to his winning ways and takes it down last night after going heads up with Papa-san.  The 1st for Jagu and 2nd for Papa are good enough to push them both into the Top 9 in 5th and 6th respectively, pushing out KarJelly and Jeena in the process.

Julius keeps the heat on and the dress off for now with a 3rd place finish, and moves up into 4th place.

Sungina playing for Team Omagina bags their first points of the season with a 4th, and Kurt takes the ever so important scraps for 5th.  Jeremiah was the bubble girl.

Cayce didn't point but no one behind him made a big enough move so he takes down Mini-Season 1 and all the bonus chips that go along with it.

Programing note:  The date for the first double header has been changed from 7/8 to FRIDAY 7/22.

Chess takes down the win last night for his 3rd pointing in a row.  He's in second place overall, just a single point behind Cayce with one week left in the first Mini-Season. 

The Milkman got 2nd!  I think he's already beat his score from last season with that pointing alone.

Jeena takes down 3rd and pops into the Top 9.  I got 4th, Padma got the scrappy 5th and Remo was this week's Bubble Boy.

Kurticus had numerous all in's and ample opportunity to use his new "Tug Ahoy!!!" battle cry, especially when it was down to 3 way action and he was pulling 2-outer suck outs, and yet did not pull the trigger a single time.  Very disappointing.  Battle cry or not, he was able to outlast everyone and take down the win.  Congrats Kurt! 

We didn't even get to hear Jackwagon call John son, of Padma, a Pud Tugger after he sent her nut flush to the rail within the first few minutes of the game.  People lets get some focus here.

I got 2nd.  Ka chow.  I got a little help with a suck out hand against Chess, my A-J against his A-K.  I'm not ashamed to say I got a little tingly after it.

Chess got 3rd, and Jagu got 4th after a fresh hospital stay earlier in the day.  John son of Padma took 5th, and Eric was this week's Bubble Boy.

Kurt's win puts him ahead in the Race for the Dress, and Chester's 3rd provides some separation from the two who haven't pointed yet... Mike and Steven.  Julius was suspiciously absent.  Plenty of season left though.

Chess:    "Damn, Judy is trying to kill me!!!"
Everyone: "Wuh?  What happened?"
Chess:    "She's making this chicken for me, and I'm all ready with my knife and fork, and I open the oven and its in there all hot and wrapped in foil.
Everyone: "Yeah, so?"
Chess:    "Sht, I don't know what to do with that!!?!??"

Seriously Chess?  What the hell, did she cook it in a Rubik's cube or something?

Meanwhile at Table 3...

Judy:    "How much does Julius have?"
Fkamiah: "17,000"
Judy:    "How did he double up when he's not even here?"
Fkamiah: "I folded to his raise."

Good times.

But on a serious note, who invited the new guy?  I thought we agreed that we would only invite crappy players.  That's how Steven got in recently, and its sure as hell how I got in.  But what the heck, new guy Cayce starts his young BPC career with a strong 2nd place finish last week, and follows it up with a 1st place this week.  I told you last week to watch out for this guy, we'll be hearing more from him.  In the mean time, he's popped into a healthy 11 point lead for Mini-Season 1.

Remo got 2nd.  He was flirting on the edge earlier in the night, pushing in and surviving many all-in's when it was still 2 tables.  The cards held for him, all the way up to 2nd.

Karrie and baby got 3rd for Team KarJelly (Karrie-Jaclyn-Kelly), starting them off right.  What are the chances of them being on the bubble again for a 3rd season in a row?

Potts got 4th, and Chess got 5th after putting Jeena out on the Bubble.
